Stana Katic Will Return For "Palace" Season 8, Good news Castle fans… Stana Katic has affirmed she will be returning for season eight!
ABC made the declaration on Tuesday, May 12, uncovering that Stana had marked another contract and would be repeating her part as NYPD Detective Kate Beckett.
While her co-star Nathan Fillion, who plays author Richard Castle, had effectively affirmed his arrival for the 2015/2016 season, Katic's future with the system was still uncertain.
Katic took to Twitter to make the declaration to her fans.
"I'm so satisfied to declare that, in the wake of chatting with our new show runners, Terence Paul Winter and Alexi Hawley (both of whom I've had the joy of working with on the show before) I'm amped up for the tentative arrangements for Beckett and charmed to be returning for a Season 8 of Castle," she tweeted.
Show makers Andrew Marlowe and his wife Terri Edda Miller declared, by means of Twitter, recently that they would be leaving the show after season seven.
