Sam Shepard Arrestedm, Performer and Pulitzer Prize-winning dramatist Sam Shepard has been set up for the Santa Fe County imprison on suspicion of bothered plastered driving.
Police say Shepard was captured Monday evening outside La Choza eatery in downtown Santa Fe.
The 71-year-old Shepard told a cop that he had two tequila drinks and was wanting to drive home. The officer could notice liquor on Shepard's breath and the on-screen character had red, watery eyes.
Santa Clause Fe police Lt. Andrea Dobyns says eatery security called police in the wake of getting to be worried around a man who may be inebriated. The man was attempting to leave in a pickup truck, yet the vehicle's crisis brake was locked in.
Police say Shepherd declined to take a breath test, yet he did perform a field temperance test, which he fizzled.
