Ruben Amaro Jr. calls out Phillies fans: 'They don't understand the game', Ordinarily Ruben Amaro Jr's. choices as Phillies general chief are sufficient to bother Philadelphia games fans. So how would you think fans will respond now that Amaro has scrutinized their baseball information?

Talking about exchange talks including his club's veterans, in particular Cole Hamels, Jonathan Papelbon, Ryan Howard, and Chase Utley, and the advancement of Philadelphia's top prospects, Amaro really wanted to take a swipe at Phillies fans. It was when Amaro was inquired as to whether the Phillies could raise Aaron Nola, 21, and Zach Eflin, 21, that he put forth the accompanying expression.

Woah. Not consistently you hear a high-positioning official discuss the fans like that. Since those remarks may have appeared somewhat brutal, Amaro thought it would be a smart thought to illuminate in a meeting Tuesday on 94 WIP that he didn't intend to take out all the fans, only the ones that pester him:

"I didn't say they don't comprehend," Amaro clarified. "A few fans don't comprehend its not all Philadelphia fans."

"When I said that, its all the more about the fan that truly doesn't comprehend the procedure — and its not all fans."

It's surely understood that Philly is an enthusiastic games town that needn't bother with much to get unreasonably agitated, but at the same time its a city loaded with energetic and educated supporters. Amaro's remarks, even the somewhat milder adaptation, absolutely won't sit well with the individuals who have watched their group go from being a perpetual contender to having one of the most noticeably awful records in the alliance in under five year
