McDonald's have reinvented the Hamburglar and he's a hipster, The Hamburglar is back, but not as you may remember him.
For those of you too young to remember the days where McDonald's TV adverts were about the adventures of Ronald McDonald living in McDonaldland, the Hamburglar was a pint-sized burglar who frequently attempted (and failed) to steal all the hamburgers for himself.Over the years, the appearance of the Hamburglar has changed a few times.
He was originally depicated as an old man with a hooked nose, only to be changed to the baby-faced child many will be familiar with in 1985.The characters latest design sees him reinvisioned as a "surburban dad" with stubble, a fedora, a trench coat and red trainers.
McDonald's' Vice President of U.S. Marketing Joel Yashinsky told Mashable the new Hamburglar has "had some time to grow up a bit and has been busy raising a family in the suburbs and his look has evolved over time".
