Madeleine Stowe revenge finale, Madeleine Stowe is known for playing Victoria Grayson on the hit show "Revenge." This show just came to an end and now she is revealing her thoughts on it all. On Monday, US Magazine shared what she had to say about the ending of this show after four seasons. The show had 22 episodes each season and fans are sad to see it go.
The question on everyone's mind after the finale was if Amanda Clarke really had Victoria Grayson's heart or not. Stowe spoke out and said "It was absolutely real. We wanted Amanda to be haunted by something. She can never be totally rid of [Victoria]. So they created this recurring dream — and Amanda’s a very credible witness. We believe everything that happened. You have to believe in the credibility of this young girl. So the answer is, in the first draft, we actually started shooting and it was Victoria’s heart. We wanted to leave the audience with a greater sense of a haunting. Because Amanda wouldn’t know.
When they shot this finale, they had no idea if it was going to be the end or not. It could have been a series finale or just a season finale. She knew it was the end for her either way. Stowe said, "I’ve always said that Victoria has always had a death wish. So I knew last fall that this would be my last season. This is something that we were working towards. But when they were shooting that last episode, they did not know whether it was the end of the show or not."
Fans are going to miss "Revenge" but it is over now. At least now we know that the Amanda Clarke got her happy ending. They did set it up for a Nolan spin-off, but don't expect that to happen. There is no talk about it right now, just that small scene setting it up. Fans of "Revenge" can't wait to see where the cast lands next.
