Iraqi forces flee as ISIS gains control of Ramadi, US official says

Iraqi powers escape as ISIS additions control of Ramadi, US authority says, The battle for Ramadi is "basically over until further notice," a U.S. military authority told Fox News, after ISIS overran the ambushed Iraqi armed force to take control of the key city Sunday, killing an expected 500 troopers and regular folks.

Iraqi security powers deserted their Anbar Operations Center in Ramadi overnight, leaving the city totally in ISIS control, as per the U.S. official, who has seen the most recent knowledge reports from Ramadi.

Albeit there were countless Security Forces involving Ramadi, most troops fled after ISIS warriors started their attack on the downtown area Sunday, abandoning Humvees and defensively covered vehicles supplied by the U.S. military, a different senior U.S. military authority told Fox News.

"The Iraqi security strengths were pushed out by a much littler [ISIS] power," the authority said.

The takeover took after a three-day attack that started with a flood of ISIS auto bombs and which managed an overwhelming hit to the Baghdad government and the U.S. powers giving logistical backing. On Monday, Shia volunteer armies joined on the city, in the ballpark of 70 miles west of the capital, an offer to retake it.

The retreat by Iraqi strengths was reminiscent of the country's most punctual fights against ISIS, including the fall of Mosul, when ineffectively prepared Iraqi fighters shrank from the dark clad Islamist armed force, leaving firearms and other apparatus behind for the terrorists to catch. In Ramadi Sunday, bodies littered the avenues as neighborhood authorities reported the activists did mass killings of Iraqi security strengths and regular citizens. Online feature demonstrated Humvees, trucks and other gear speeding out of Ramadi, with warriors grasping onto their sides.
