Cavaliers promo glorifies domestic violence in tasteless promotional, A Cavaliers promo that appears to glorify domestic violence is making headlines for its questionable content. According to a May 7, 2015 report from the Los Angeles Times, a spokesperson for the Cavs told the Associated Press that a comment about the promotional video is forthcoming later today.

The tasteless Cavaliers promo video is called "Time of My Life--Cavs Playoff Skit." It starts innocently enough. A typical sports-loving couple prepares for the game at home. The man wears a Cavaliers t-shirt. The woman wears an apron as she works in the kitchen. They flirt. They dance. Suddenly it all goes wrong.

When the woman takes off her apron to reveal that she is wearing a Chicago Bulls t-shirt and runs toward her partner in a dance move straight out of the movie Dirty Dancing, the man catches her, lifts her into the air and tosses her roughly across the room.

"Bulls fan? I didn't know you were a Bulls fan," the man in the Cavaliers promo says upon seeing her offending t-shirt. "I can't believe she's a Bulls fan." It is clearly not a dance move gone wrong; he forcefully throws her away from him before shouting at her and walking away while she lies on the ground, apparently in pain.

The narrator of the Cavaliers promo explains, "When it's playoff basketball time you have to be 'ALL IN,' so don't make the same mistake she made." The video has been deleted from the team’s official Vimeo account, reported AJC.com. However, the clip is still available on YouTube.

At the end of the Cavaliers promo video, the woman wears a Cavaliers t-shirt while holding a bag of ice to her head. The implication seems to be that the man has beaten her undesirable quality, being a Chicago Bulls fan, out of her thanks to brute force.
