Captain Kidd Treasure, The suspected treasure of a disreputable pirate has been discovered deep underwater in Madagascar.

The 50kg silver bar, that is currently being guarded by troopers, is believed to own been the property of Scottish pirate Kidd.

Divers brought the bar to shore at Sainte Marie island when finding the wonderful discovery, that is believed to own been left behind when a ship wreck within the seventeenth century.

Archaeologists in Madagascar currently say it absolutely was owned by Capt Captain Kidd, World Health Organization was once defendant of murdering a member of his own crew.

Madagascar's president and United Kingdom and U.S.A. diplomats received the suspected treasure at a ceremony on the island, the BBC reports.

Capt Captain Kidd was dead in 1701 for piracy when arriving from a voyage to the Indian Ocean.

The pirate had to be set up up for hanging 3 times, when the rope stony-broke around his neck doubly before the third finally command.

Capt Kidd's body was unfit in tar and adorned by chains on the Thames to function a warning to potential pirates.

It is believed that Captain Kidd buried a lot of of his treasure, with the legend happening in history in Henry M. Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island.

The wreck of Kidd's Armenian ship Quedagh bourgeois was found by archaeologists from the University of IN in 2007, when decades of competition between treasure hunters to uncover the 500-tonne vessel.

The ship was loaded with wanted satins, muslins, silver and gold that in all probability belonged to Brits East Indies Company before being commandeered by Captain Kidd in 1699.
