Three young children were injured when waterspout toppled a bounce house on a beach in Fort Lauderdale on Memorial Day, according to ABC News. All three were forced from the castle and thrown onto the beach as the bounce house was uprooted from the ground.
The bounce house had been secured to a basketball court when the waterspout snapped a concrete pole holding a basketball hoop, according to the outlet. The inflatable then crashed in a parking lot across a state road, police told the outlet. So scary.
Footage Shows The Bounce House Lifting Close To 50 Ft. In The Air
In the video, you see the bounce house lift up and roll over multiple times before taking flight some 50 feet in the air across the beach. The footage shows the unattended attraction flying above palm trees, across a parking lot and over four lanes of traffic. We can’t imagine what could have happened to those three kids if they weren’t tossed out prior to it lifting that high.
