Blind high school pole vaulter wins medal in Texas, Visually impaired secondary school post vaulter wins award in Texas, A visually impaired shaft vaulter has won a bronze decoration with a third-place complete at the Texas state secondary school titles.
Senior Charlotte Brown has made the state finals three years in succession. She cleared 11 feet, 6 inches on Saturday to acquire the decoration in Class 4A, one of the state's biggest characterizations.
She was joined on the award remain by her administration canine Vador.
She was conceived with typical vision yet created waterfalls when she was only 16 weeks old. That prompted the first of a few operations, including insertion of counterfeit lenses. At age 11, her vision began to exacerbate.
