Ben Stiller Anne Meara

Ben Stiller took to Twitter on Monday morning to thank fans for their backing in the wake of the demise of his mom Anne Meara.

As Gossip Cop reported, Meara, the wife of Jerry Stiller, was a world-well known comedienne and performer. With a profession that spread over various decades, the Emmy victor made an imprint on eras youthful and old. The Stiller family declared on Sunday that she kicked the bucket on Saturday night at age 85.

An overflowing of sadness took after on online networking, as Gossip Cop highlighted, where fans and big names allike sent sympathies and paid tribute to Meara. Accordingly, Stiller tweeted at a young hour the following morning, "Thank you such a great amount for all the kind words about Anne. Every one of us in our family feel so fortunate to have had her in our lives."

In Sunday's announcement, outfitted to Gossip Cop by Stiller's reps, he and his family said, "The Stiller family is profoundly disheartened to share the adored Anne Meara passed away the previous evening at 85 years old. She is made due by her spouse and accomplice in life Jerry Stiller. The two were hitched for a long time and cooperated as long. Anne's memory lives on in the hearts of girl Amy, child Ben, her grandchildren, her more distant family and companions, and the millions she entertained as a performing artist, author and comedienne."

Stiller had been in Rome shooting "Zoolander 2" when the news broke. Meara had shown up in the first motion picture in 2001. Tattle Cop will have upgrades.
