Ben E. King, Soulful Singer of ‘Stand by Me,’ Dies at 76

Ben E. King, emotional Singer of ‘Stand by Pine Tree State,’ Dies at seventy six, the globe has lost another nice voice.

Ben E. King, the R&B singer behind the classic "Stand By Pine Tree State," died of natural causes on weekday.

King’s publiciser confirmed to The Telegraph on Friday. he's survived by his married woman, Betty, his 3 youngsters, and 6 grandchildren.

The music legend found fame within the late '50s with The Drifters, cathartic hits like "There Goes My Baby" and "Save the Last Dance on behalf of me."

In 1961, King established his solo high status once he discharged "Stand By Pine Tree State," that was named one in all the Songs of the Century by the Recording business Association of America.

This morning, fans and celebrities took to Twitter and Facebook to honor his inheritance.
