"Pitiful news to report: [Chris] and [Whitney] are no more engaged...," Bachelor inventor and official maker Mike Fleiss tweeted out on Thursday.The end of their engagement comes only two weeks after Whitney, 29, joined Chris, 33, on his Arlington, Iowa ranch.
At the time, Chris called her "a characteristic" as she had her first day planting corn.More as of late, Whitney has invested her energy holding with her previous Bachelor contenders Becca Tilley and Kaitlyn Bristowe, which started bits of gossip that there may have been inconvenience on the ranch.
ET identifies with Chris and Whitney after they first got drew in toward the end of season 19 of The Bachelor, and Whitney talked about the way that just six couples are still attached out of the 28 seasons of the two Bachelor arrangement.
"I imagine that it is vital to not concentrate on that and to concentrate on us as a few," she said.
Chris said that he was certain that his association with Whitney's would stand the test of time. "We didn't go on this show for anything other than for discovering somebody and our number one concentrate now is to proceed with that relationship that we grew on the show," he said.
