Julie Chen chant, Julie Chen knows a thing or two about hosting. She's fronted Big Brother on CBS since July 2000 and is coming up on five years at The Talk. So she and David Letterman had plenty to chat about during her appearance on The Late Show Tuesday night.
First, Chen explained the secret to her success on The Talk: chanting. "Every day before we go out and do that live show, the whole staff does this team chant," Chen explained, before launching into a slightly cringe-inducing example for her appearance on The Late Show: "Billy Crystal's hilarious at every occasion / Dave looks so handsome and I look so Asian!
Maybe he was just bummed she didn't take his job application seriously. Earlier in the interview, Letterman said, "I don't know why I wouldn't be the perfect fit for that group," he said of The Talk. (He will be job hunting pretty soon, after all.)

Letterman's last show is May 20; guests for his final shows were announced this week.
