Jack White surprise shows, Surprise! Jack White has some shows up his sleeve and they’re not his typical gigs. On the heels of his weekend Coachella performance, the former White Stripes singer has announced a series of shows with a super low ticket price. White has announced plans to a series of acoustic concerts in five states he has never played before, according to Rolling Stone on Tuesday.White hasn’t announced the secret locations of the bargain gigs, but on the morning of each performance they’ll be revealed via his website and social media accounts. Tickets will only cost $3 and will be available only at the announced venue at noon that day. Only one ticket can be purchased per person and the $3 ticket price must be paid in cash.
The rock star’s first-ever acoustic gigs will have him accompanied by musician Fats Kaplin, Lillie Mae Rische and Dominic Davis. As for the states the quartet will play in, White revealed that the mini tour will hit the final five states he’s yet to visit in support of last year’s "Lazaretto" album.
Superfans may be able to figure out which states White hasn’t performed in yet and try to piece together where he'll turn up. According to his website, the “Lazaretto” tour ends in Honolulu today, so Hawaii can be eliminated from the list. In addition, last summer’s “Lazaretto” tour dates included gigs in Tennessee, Texas, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Michigan and more.
