Gwyneth Paltrow Files For Divorce, The famous couple submitted documents in Los Angeles on Monday citing "irreconcilable differences".
The duo have been living separate lives for the past year after "consciously uncoupling" last March.
However, in what must be the most amicable split Hollywood has ever seen, the pair have had nothing but good words to say about each other.
In fact it seems the divorce will be cleared by the courts in no time as Chris and Gwyn have already agreed joint custody of their two children, Apple, 10, and Moses, 9.
Gwyneth initially announced the couple's split via her lifestyle blog Goop.com causing the site to crash. The actress said: "We come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much, we will remain separate."
"We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us.
"We are however, and always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer than we have ever been.
"We are parents first and foremost, to two incredibly wonderful children and we ask for their and our space and privacy to be respected at this difficult time.
"We have always conducted our relationship privately, and we hope that as we consciously uncouple and co-parent, we will be able to continue in the same manner."
The couple tied the knot in a secret ceremony back in 2003 just days after announcing Gwyn was pregnant with their first child.
