Gisele Bundchen Knew Husband Tom Brady Was The One 'Straightaway', Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady are each other's soulmates.
The Brazilian supermodel talked about how she and her husband, who was hailed Super Bowl XLIX MVP, fell in love in the March 2015 issue of Vogue UK.
"I knew Tom was the one straightaway," the 34-year-old mom-of-three told the magazine. "I could see it in his eyes that he was a man with integrity who believes in the same things I do.”
Back in 2006, a mutual friend set Brady, 37, and Bundchen up on a blind date when they were both freshly single. The football star had just broke things off with Bridget Monayhan, with whom he shares a son, 7-year-old Jack; meanwhile, the supermodel had parted ways with Leonardo DiCaprio after they ended their five-year relationship.
"This friend told me he knew a girl version of me," Brady recalled their first meeting in a 2009 interview with Details. His wife, meanwhile, added from the background, "And he said to me he'd found a boy version of me."
The rest, as they say, is history. Brady and Bundchen dated for three years before tying the knot and they are now proud parents to two children together, 5-year-old Benjamin and 2-year-old Vivian, along with her stepson Jack.
Bundchen also opened up about being a mother, telling Vogue UK that family is always her priority before anything else.
"I'm very nurturing. I come from a large family and my parents were loving," she told the magazine.
The world's highest paid model also revealed her golden rule when it comes to parenting.
"The most important thing for me as a mum is to keep my word," she said. "When I say no, I mean no. I always say they have all the time in the world to sit there saying, 'I want it, I want it,' but they are smart, and if I give in to them they know they can get away with it."
Between her modeling career, businesses and personal life, it's a wonder Bundchen has any time to spare for anything else. But the supermodel said she has her own way of handling her many different roles.
"I'm a model as a job," she explained. "I'm Gisele, the daughter of Valdir and Vania, I'm a woman, I am a model. When I go home and shut the door, that's it."
Meawhile, Bundchen has another reason to be happy after her husband's and his team's fourth Super Bowl win at the University of Phoenix stadium on Sunday.
