Cape Cod firefighters have examined several recent tanks as a reaction to this incident. This incident will be investigated in order to prevent recurrence in the future. As already known, many illegal methamphetamine manufacturers operating in the Cape Cod area.

Fire departments say meth manufacturers can use up propane, then store anhydrous ammonia in the tanks. That can weaken them, causing a danger of explosion.
Coan said he’s meeting with experts Monday to determine what’s causing the tanks to look suspicious.
