Ohio's suicide rate has increased

Ohio's suicide rate has increased, Many people suffer from mental illnesses such as depression, Bipolar, and anxiety. Some people suffer so bad that they just can't handle life anymore and decide to end it. This is sad but true. Especially for those living in Ohio. According to a report by Mansfield News Journal on May 5, the suicide rate in Ohio has increased as much as 41.5% within the past 10 years. It is mainly men and women between the ages of 35 and 64.

Suicide should never be the answer to fix anyone's problems. Once you die, you die and you cannot take it back. If you suffer from a mental illness like many people in the world do, you should seek help immediately. Depression, anxiety, Bipolar disorder and every other mental illness is not something to be taken lightly. They are serious conditions and one needs to get the help they need before resulting to ending their life.

Although it is mostly adults between the ages of 35 and 64, many teenagers are attempting suicide.

According to the report, middle aged men may be committing suicide because they are older, have tried everything and are still not making it in life. This is truly sad.

Elderly may be committing suicide because of suffering from diseases such as Alzheimer's disease and Dementia.

This is the 15th largest increase in the United States. This is more than what Ohio's neighbors have experienced as well.
