Victoria's Secret Model Yfke Sturm In A Coma After Fracturing Skull In Italy , Dutch model Yfke Sturm is in a coma following a freak accident with a motorized surfboard in Italy. Sturm, who has modeled for Victoria's Secret, Chanel, Calvin Klein and Marc Jacobs, reportedly fractured her skull off the coast of the Italian island of Ischia in the accident.
According to reports, Sturm, 33, fell from her board and was hit by either surfer or a boat (reports are mixed). She was flown to Naples where she remains in critical condition. The Victoria's Secret Angel is believed to be at serious risk of permanent paralysis.
The model is also known for hosting "Holland's Next Top Model" and gave birth to her first son, Alexander, two months ago.
