Twitter client @casualnosebleed shared a photograph of a yearbook quote picked by her nearby companion Caitlyn Cannon on Tuesday, and in only one day, the picture was retweeted just about 4,000 times. In her Twitter bio, Cannon portrays herself as a "women's activist" and "truly gay." Her senior quote wholes that up very perfectly.The quote understands: "I require woman's rights in light of the fact that I expect on wedding rich and I can't do that if my wife and I are making .75 penny for each dollar a man makes."

Cannon, a 17-year-old who simply moved on from Oak Hills High School in California, said she discovered the quote on Tumblr and changed the parts that were composed from a man's viewpoint. She picked the quote on the grounds that she needed to desert something that was both distinctive and consistent with herself.

"I was burnt out on seeing the same old quotes from famous books and motion pictures and writers, and I needed to point out an issue that ladies face," she said in an email to The Huffington Post. "I've never truly been embarrassed to say that I am gay, so the LGBT viewpoint was essentially who I am."

The quote has started some criticism from individuals defaming the sexual orientation pay crevice.
