Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher post video in response to chicken stealing lawsuit

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher post video in response to chicken stealing lawsuit, Mila Kunis wants the word to know that she is not a poultry thief. Kunis and husband Ashton Kutcher took to the app Meerkat on Wednesday to respond to a lawsuit filed by Kristina Karo.

The lawsuit claims that when Kunis was a child in the Ukraine she stole neighbor Karo’s beloved pet chicken named Doggie. Karo, who is now a singer living in Los Angeles, is seeking $5,000 in a small claims court to cover therapy sessions she needed to cope with the loss of her adored fowl.

In the video posted on TMZ, Kutcher asks for his wife’s response to the lawsuit and she jokingly replies, “I was weeping…I was dumbfounded…Which chicken did I steal?”

Kutcher then asks if she has been physically served legal papers for the lawsuit and Kunis answers that she hasn’t but “emotionally, I feel served.”

He then notes that Karo has a music video coming out right now and Kunis pipes up that she’s filing a countersuit seeking damages for having to watch it: “My body hurts, my eyes hurt; they’re burning. That requires money.”

Kutcher notes that he knows his wife “pretty well” and “I believe she’s an ethical person and wouldn’t steal a chicken.”
